I don't think it is specifically Tennessee, but the SEC is more interesting when more Big 6 teams are good. When 2/3 of the Big 3 in either division is down, the conference loses some interest and becomes more like the Big 10 or ACC.

Not here to troll - I welcome the downvotes etc. but the SEC and CFB is better off when UT has a strong team
Strange how we all feel CFB is better when our team is strong.
Last year was the best year for CFB ever IMO.

It's better to have teams in the EAST give UGA headaches instead of letting them walk to Atlanta every year on an easy ride. It evens up the conference
Since UT last played in Atlanta 4 different SEC East teams have done so…

Tenn hasn’t been in the picture in two decades. This timeframe was also the best the SEC has ever been. So I’m not so sure about that

It actually did work. Stats are not pretty but the end result was the desired one. VOLS won.
BAMA isn't Florida. And Florida was not one-dimensional. And my guess is that a vol defense ranked somewhere 96th in the country won't make that so against any SEC team, much less ALABAMA.
You, people, put all your chips in an offense that destroys its own defense. Ole Miss, under Corral, gave it a go, just as Auburn gave it a go in the early days of Gus.

I'd prefer Florida to be good again instead of Tenner

it would be nice for Georgia to not have an absolute cake walk to a semi-home game in the SECCG for the foreseeable future
we are about to shite can divisions and go to the 3-6 format - so this concern will go away soon enough
