That doesn’t sound feasible. What’s going to happen when the SEC Champ and Big Ten Champ both finish undefeated. One’s going to have to play round 1 and the other won’t? Get real

Seems kinda odd to me… if #1 deserves a bye, most years at a minimum #2 does too, maybe even 3 and 4 as well
That said, we’ve learned that a bye isn’t necessarily a good thing. I’d personally prefer no byes for anyone

Anything over 14 games would trigger a clause in the CFP agreement allowing other networks to bid on the additional games. This setup would bring it to exactly 14.
