unfortunately this is a common theme on the SEC Rant these days, especially since the insurgence of all these new posters. no disrespect to you, of course.
What exactly is new that has been brought up to respond to rohan? The timeline offered doesn't implicate anyone especially Auburn. Just another pointless thread really.

It may be a scrap heap, but it is a scrap heap that has now been certified as habitable by the city, at a cost of what they estimated would be 50% of it's assessed value, which was about $300,000.
I have no idea if the guy received illicit funds, but it is very much a legitimate question.

City Council got tired of Cecil's continued delays so they finally allowed him to only meet 3 conditions to get it off the sub-par property list:
June 8, 2010:
The Code Enforcement Officer informed Council the Chief Building Official has been in touch with the engineer for 115 Temple Avenue and he has made a suggestion for three things to be accomplished: (1) the old building in the rear be demolished (2) retaining wall be replaced and (3) exterior walls be replaced, and if they comply, he would support removing this structure from the Council and let it follow the permitted inspections like any other construction project. Staff informed Council he had spoken with Rev Newton and he has someone to remove the building in the rear within the next seven to ten days. He indicated their engineering will provide the drawing for the new retaining wall.

Cecil turned over church bank records to the NCAA and they cleared Cam. That makes this thread stupid.

The church bank statements are not being questioned by the OP.
The source of the bonds and the backing letters is.

Actually, if there is any money exchange implication at all, the timeline would suggest AU rather than Miss St.
The intent of putting the timeline together was to see if there were any "agreements" of any kind made considering the BOGUS rationale for declaring Cam "eligible" shortly after declaring him "ineligible" as well as to see if there might possibly exist a connection with AU since AU "was not involved":
Rulebook change Rationale:
"SEC Bylaw 14.01.3.2 does not apply in this situation. It only applies when there is an actual payment of an improper benefit, or an agreement (such as a handshake agreement) to pay and receive an improper benefit. The facts in this case, as we understand them, are that the student-athlete’s father, without the knowledge of the student-athlete, solicited improper payments (which were rejected) from an institution the young man did not attend, and that the institution where the young man is enrolled was not involved."
So, getting the answers to what "banking company", what "money in hand", "securing financing" with who, "bonds totaling about $12K" with who, and "2 letters of support" from who would certainly help to clear the air.

Is this accurate that Cecil turned over the Church's bank records, and not just his personal bank records?

I rather doubt that Newton turned over his tax records seeing as the NCAA has no authoritative legal power and tax records require either his (Cecil's) permission to release or a subpoena, a warrant, or judge's order to be made available.

There is an Anthony Paige who is an Atlanta area contractor that went to Tuskegee University who is probably the one spoken of.
Months matter from the standpoint of who cecil would have been talking with/to at the time. The dude needed money to get the City off his back.
In the May-June 2010 timeframe, the Mayor had had enough and placed a "stop-work" order on the property...
