I would vote Houston in the BCSCG over Alabama, yes. Is this difficult for you?

There's nothing to dispute.
LSU is in it.
If you want to cry your way in -- we don't care.

1. I did not read the article
2. Cecil Hurt could be a janitor for all I know (no offense to janitors)
3. Alabama fans, in reverse roles, would be saying how "LSU isn't worthy of a rematch", but worried about facing LSU again.
Does it really matter what LSU fans think? Ask yourselves.

I have accepted that Bama is going to hold on to #2 and go to the BCSNCG, even though I don't like it.
But it will be interesting to see how many of the human voters try to change it. I am 99.9% sure it won't be enough.

Ok, so next year Boise goes undefeated, TCU goes undefeated, and LSU is 11-1. BSU vs. TCU for the NC right?

Obviously, but we're arguing about where they should be voted, not what happens if they're voted that way.

How exactly do you guys think bama will beat lsu?
They can't and they wont

If it's not about the two best teams, then why is Houston not #1 or #2?
If it is about the two best teams, how is a team that lost to Iowa State better than a team that lost to LSU?

Go argue this with your friends at P.E. That's not what this thread is about.

If you can dispute what he says, go for it. Otherwise it's just more excuses.

quote:Because no one thinks Houston is better than Bama. Some people legitimately think OSU is better than Bama. The computers do. Add in the fact that some voters don't want to see a rematch, and the "2nd best" in your mind might not get in. Voters can vote however they want. All the BCS guarantees is that the 2nd-ranked team gets in, not the 2nd-best team.
If it's not about the two best teams, then why is Houston not #1 or #2?

Obviously most people think Bama is better than OSU too.
IF OSU blow out OU, and people legitimately change their minds, fine. But most of you here think Bama IS the #2 but don't think they should play again because you've already beaten us, which has nothing to do with BCS rules.

It's not about what they want to see. It's about who they think is best.

Voters can vote however they want.
Can they? Can they vote Maryland #1? If they believe Bama is #2 but vote them down to avoid a rematch that's ok?
quote:
All the BCS guarantees is that the 2nd-ranked team gets in, not the 2nd-best team.
But voters are expected to vote whoever they want as #2 whether they believe it or not, right? There aren't any inherent expectations?
