If you believe he was ever a back-up QB then you need to tighten that string around your finger let ye forget to breathe.

That would be my opinion if we'd won. Shouldn't have to beat us again.
Sounds like the scared camp to me.

You have ignorantly stated what you think on a message board for everyone to see. Your big mistake.
And in your opinion what I think is wrong. That is your big mistake.
Starting to see how this is going to go?

Yes, that your flame attempt failed miserably.

That you are perpetuating the belief that Alabama folk are backwards and ignorant? Everyone does.

It would appear that the majority of football enthusiasts agree with what I've posted in this thread. What is it that makes me backward, and of what am I ignorant?

It wasn't a straight flame attempt, but had it been, I would say that 10 pages is fairly successful.

Cecil Hurt must have been educated at the feet of Harvey Updyke.

Who gives a shite about what a hack writer from Bama says?
I assure you that if the shoe was on the other foot, Gumps would be calling LSU a bunch of wimps for wanting a rematch.
It's not fear because our next game will leave no doubt that LSU is better.

Sick burn.
But, I posted the article with a somewhat inflammatory thread title because it is a good article and I agree with what he says. I have argued my points, which are the same as most who pay attention to the BCS. You guys are just getting mad because I made fun of you a little and because deep down you know the article is true.
But carry on. I'm an ignorant gump who didn't have the benefit of a Louisiana state education, yadda, yadda.

The article pretty much glosses over any Alabama/Oklahoma State comparison. It expects us to accept Alabama's superiority as fact, with no real evidence to support it.
For the record, here's the way I view the situation. I think that Alabama is the second best team in America. Most honest people would agree with that. However, up until a couple of weeks ago, I, along with most honest people believed that Oklahoma State would beat Iowa State. We were all wrong, which proves that a great majority of people believing something does not make it true.
What I know is that LSU has done everything in its power to prove that it is a better team than Alabama. I believe that LSU has more to prove by beating Oklahoma State than beating Alabama again. The Big 12 is either the best or second best conference this year, depending on who you ask. (The computers seem to think that it is the best) Matching LSU with Oklahoma State would provide more data for determining THE best team. That is the point of the season, is it not? Regardless of who won the game, there would be no reasonable dispute as to who the best team is.
I don't think my reasoning is stupid, and I'm certainly not scared.
Of course, if Oklahoma State loses on Saturday, it pretty much shoots all of this to hell and I will reluctantly support Alabama being #2.
