3:30 in the afternoon is a prime time slot?

Tell me you are not from these here parts. The best marquee SEC games parked it here for decades.

That’s on CBS. They balked at paying $350 million for the marquee SEC game each week and are now stuck paying $300 million for the 3rd best BIG game
Sponsors pay more for the 3rd best B1G game than the marquee SEC one. It doesn't always mean more.

So, you want to die on the once-a-year nighttime CBS game to make your point the hard way?

Nah it’s all good. Just for my buck, the prime time games mean the night time. The time slot you speak of is not considered prime time in the classical sense. It’s a late afternoon marquee game. That’s what you meant.

That beautiful theme music leading into Notre Dame vs. Purdue is just sad to think about.

Well, the whole state of Indiana may watch but I can't really blame them. Whiskey will be lucky to stay within 30 of bama.

Doesn't Fox have first dibs?

That was my assumption. That, or CBS is REALLY trying to separate themselves from the SEC

The 1982 contest against Michigan was the first night game in the history of Notre Dame Stadium, and with the use of portable lights was televised in prime time on ABC.
