I’m pretty sure it is going to go in LSU’s favor, that’s not what his argument is about and he gives a strong argument

There’s some good points to Auburn’s side 100%. I don’t think anyone has said otherwise. All I’ve seen is counter arguments that say maybe it’s not so cut and dry. That one side has refused to acknowledge. And also saying it’s a weird argument either way to point at just two teams. Has an inferiority complex feel to it.

You seem to really be proud of finishing 2nd in the SEC
Finishing 2nd is objectively better than finishing 3rd. Just like having the #5 RPI is better than #8, the #1 ELO is better than the #10, and the #15 SoS is better than #35.

All of which circles back to my original point, which you keep dancing around. LSU would not be favored against Arkansas anywhere but at home.

Many baseball experts are on record saying they have LSU as the favorite to win it all as well speak. They don’t seem to give a frick about the metrics. A lot of it is due to the fact that we are very tough to beat on our number 1 and number 2 starters which is a great luxury to have. I don’t believe I’ve said y’all wouldn’t be a favorite on a neutral field? I believe yall would be currently. But based on pitching matchups we’d absolutely be the favorite in certain situations.

What the heck? We’re 10 pages in of irrational LSU fans whose entire argument is basically, “We’re LSU and you’re Auburn.”

You are seeing only what you want to see. I’ve said at least 5 times in this thread (including in the OP) that both teams are deserving of a national seed. I’ve said multiple times that both teams had Top 7 national resumes.

Much of the hilarity of this thread is LSU fans trying to pretend that someone simply comparing the resumes is somehow attacking LSU and pretending I said they aren’t a good team.

LSU baseball fans are basically the same as the worst Alabama football fans other than they follow a far less successful program, relatively speaking. Unless unfettered praise and adoration is heaped on their team, they feel personally attacked. I don’t give a shite about LSU baseball or its fans. I simply call it like I see it, and LSU’s resume is at the moment (could change with results in Hoover) 6th or 7th nationally. Sorry you can’t handle someone stating their opinion as such.

We have 7 National Championships and Auburn has zero. You can think what you want but it matters to the committee.

Well sounds like I’m not “most LSU fans” lol. Not once that I said yall don’t have a good team. I do think we’re a better overall team, but we will see in short order who has the better season. There’s also been many facts stated saying LSU is up to par.

Judging by this thread and the comments. It sounds like you’re very passionate about the topic lol. LSU may very well end of 6th on the totem pole. I haven’t said they wouldn’t end up that way either. All I’m saying is it doesn’t mean anything. We will see in short order.

Because he believes Aubbie is better than LSU, and despite the sweep at Aubbie, I disagree. That strike zone in that series sucked!

LSU needs Milam and Dickerson to heat up, and the rest to stay where they are or get hotter.

Arkansas won 2 of their last 3

Those little quips are stupid. By saying they lost 4 of their last 6, means they obviously won the 7th series ago and probably many before that. It’s a tv thing

Wanna know how many games the strike zone sucked, the weather sucked, or a check swing was called incorrectly?

Look at the standings and see how many games LSU lost. Answer found

Yall won a measly one more game than LSU. And lost the series. I wouldn’t puff my feathers at that

Yeah don’t doubt every game has shite calls, but draw the line at inconsistent zones called for both teams.
Why are you repping Arkie and so involved in this thread?

Yea but Auburn played Georgia and Ole Miss

Not even just played

They were swept by Georgia and lost 2 of 3 to Ole Miss.

Somehow that helps them, in OPs eyes

But being swept by Auburn hurts LSU, even though we finished with a better overall and SEC record, and are ranked higher in every metric/publication except the highly flawed RPI, which can drop you in rankings after a win

This guy is retarded

That’s great then How about we review the entire SEC season.

LSU series record: 7-3 in the SEC
Arkansas series record: 6-4 in the SEC
The difference is not as great as you are so desperately trying to make it.

This is LSU logic in a nutshell.

Getting swept at Auburn means absolutely nothing, but winning a series 2-1 over Arkansas is definitive proof that LSU is superior to the Hogs. You people are unreal.

What do you think a sweep at your house means? Lol as defined in your feels I mean. Does that prove Aubbie is better? Guess Dutton > Anderson and whoever your number 2 is > Eyanson?
Missouri > Aggie?
