54 over 6 years… where’s the benefit for him to take the 30

This is what a lot of people are missing. If it’s over 6 years it’s in monthly installments which is much easier to pay than a lump sum of 54 million. Chicken littles keep saying we’re broke bc we’re out 54 million. We are, just over 6 years. Which is 800k a month.
Someone said it! He and choupique19 are in every thread literally copying and pasting. Give it up already.
Good thing is he’s known and worked with Ausberry for 5 years now so he won’t have to deal with a new-new boss. They owe him some renovations and upgrades after 2 in 3, but something tells me the coffers will be semi empty for a little bit.
whomever is downvoting every post on a positive thread today, of all days, about Veterans Day is a shitehead. Thanks for your service, all.

Because we’re broke

None of this is LSU’s money. Some people really have no concept of big money and how it works and changes hands. If you have 20 million to contribute to a buyout of a football coach, you have more money than you know what to do with. You don’t just give 20 million because you have 21. We’re talking people with substantial, generational wealth. The athletic department is not on the hook for a dime of this travesty. All this did was make ~4 donors (and I’m not talking ppl who have to pay TAF fees and say they’re a booster) even more major in the scheme of things and gives them a leg up on “having input” bc they got us out this mess.

So no, it’s not because we’re broke that this is a shitshow and unable to be handled properly. It’s because of our inept politicians, starting with the coonarse midget.
Not sure what that even means. But I voted for Landry proudly and after his antics, never again will he be checked on my ballot. This stuff with LSU has really shown how small his brain is and I’m not sure the voting public knew that before all this. May jut be about lsu football, but if he does this with University athletics I’m not sure what he’s doing in the mansion. Even some non LSU fans or football fans in general that I’ve talked to are saying they won’t vote for him again for his overstepping and overreach in things that should concern him way less than he involves himself.

He was having an affair with DD Breaux's daughter, some of which took place on campus at football ops buildings.

Idk man. This feels like something that you need sauces for.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but this is the first I’ve heard of this. Are you talking about Sara? I’m not saying I completely don’t believe it because I’ve known her since we were in elementary school, and she’s wild. However… With all this BK/cause drama I’m curious why this is the first time in 17 days we’ve even heard something like this! Especially if it was DD’s daughter he was getting cozy with in FB ops.

That is another $25m that could be going to collectives and facilities

This donor money is specifically earmarked to get rid of CBK. Not for facilities or collectives. They can choose where to donate their money. You don’t know how this works bc you’ve never had $10 mm to allocate for something. Having that much money, you get to say what it’s for. What if they don’t want to give it to a collective? People can’t tell private donors what to do with their money.

So, in summation, stop pocket watching people who have so much money, that 10million is a drop in the bucket.

LSU fans prefer violent criminals to guys like Nuss. It’s just what the fanbase is now.

Was waiting for this subliminal comment for 5 pages…
Question for those who follow in the media more than I do. Who are the best follows and most informed on the team these days? Thanks fellas.

What are yalls realistic expectations for this season? Any realistic shot of making the tourney?

Improved roster for sure, but not sure how we stack up against the top of the SEC. Who knows, we could be so much improved that we go from a zero to a competitor in one offseason. I expect us to atleast be in contention for the tourney

Excited to be there tonight and hopefully usher in a new successful season and time with LSU MBB. Bc it’s been bleak lately, to say the least!
What in the world was ghetto about them tonight?

One question since football is basically out now. Does Jay Johnson like Verge?

Sofa stop being such a puss and posting this shite in every thread. Jay is here for the baseball program and he and Skip have a relationship that can’t be explained. He’s known verge for 4 years. He’ll be fine. Take a midol bro.
Zakiyah is far and away the best freshman on the team. She’s a bucket from a double double before halftime.
We are 15 minutes of basketball into this season, and you’re calling for an “experiment” to end.

You are the worst kind of LSU fan.

Fulwiley and Jada will both play plenty. Kim said so herself last week.

Facts. Went to mass with them at St Al. Anyone that says Mrs terry is disingenuous and aloof is incorrect. She’s a wonderful lady. Kristen absolutely hated Baton Rouge, but she’s an adult now. Mrs Terry is what matters, and CajunTiger has the right idea.

All that to say, will he be the next coach at LSU (again), who knows, but this is fun as hell to speculate about.

re: Currently at McNeese

You do realize that the funds and priorities are vastly different at the 2 institutions, correct?
If you believe that the McNeese head football coach is going to be the head coach at THE Louisiana State University based on the affinity for their president first, and at a very very very much smaller scale, their AD… I’ve got some beachfront property in Nairobi to sell you.

How do some of you have the common sense to support and have a family. Buncha chicken littles.
