Cecil Newton was requested by the NCAA to open up his and his churches financial books over a month ago. He did not have to do so and could have refused showing anything. However, he gave the NCAA all the records they requested. TIFWIW, but if someone was on the take and fixed up their church why would they be so willing to open up personal and church finances when they could have chosen not to?

He needed time to alter them. Happens all the time...

If nothing comes of this, Herbie is dead to me. That is a bold f---ing move to come out and condemn AU when, at this point, nothing is clear.
Herbie has an opinion and you hate him for it? And you loved him for picking you pre-season and being a prognosticator about your new QB.
Please people, be rational.

I heard it word for word on ESPN radio.
Then you are the only one. He never stated this and it has been shot down by nearly everyone outside of a few Bama sites.

Reminds me of a joke I heard.
The IRS went to a pastor and said, "one of your members has filed he paid your church 100k each year for the last 7 years. We just want to know if it is true."
The pastor replied, "well if it ain't it will be" lol.
Auburn has seen the records, as well as the SEC, as well as the NCAA. Everyone at Auburn that would be worried if something bad was happening has said Cam is clean. Most are pretty pissed off about this whole mess.
