I think the Aggies just didn’t wanna play in a meaningless bowl game. Those guys are clearly entitled and beating Bama was all they wanted.

At least Auburn and LSU know how to win a natty after beating us.

Fisher is a much weaker coach than I ever thought he was. This is pretty good proof. I’ve lost all respect for him.

Worse. It was impacting their prep for the game. Both protocoled players and the opt outs. The protocol guys, most would be ok by game time. Add in scout teamers and walkons and they could field a team of probably 50 or more. They just didn’t want to play, too much work.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that they were already going to have 20+ out for non-COVID reasons.

Well the SEC has a rule that you have to have 55 scholarship players in order to take the field.

Ags had 38 scholarship players not affected by Covid.

Seems like we were 17 players of the SEC minimum. But you do your own math dumbass.

Jimbo knew getting paid 100m and going 8-5, which he will now anyways, makes him a total fraud.

All he did was buy himself another year by pulling this move. The game was 9 days away for fricks sake.

This is not true. Schools can choose to play anyway, MSU did against us last year.

Covid my arse!!

Play the damn game, even if you play with your second string and bench warmers!!

So what if you lose a meaningless bowl game!

What the AD (who’s a complete idiot) and our coaching staff did, was pure bull shite!!

We deserve every bit of ridicule!!
Fhuck the both of them!!

A rule the SEC has given waivers to multiple times.

Mike Leach laughs at roster limits.

"SEC teams will need to have at least 53 scholarship players available, including a quarterback, seven offensive linemen and four defensive linemen, according to guidelines announced by the league on Friday. If a team can't meet the minimum requirements, it can choose to play anyway."

Then why even have a limit. The whole thing around covid rules is stupid when teams can just play anyways.

The vast majority of players will hang their pads up for good when they leave college. Some just want the opportunity for another game. Also, and much more of a factor, $$$$
