Smart women don't have sex just to have sex. They have sex to get something in return...

At least she (her family) is upstanding enough not to want to own this. I'm guessing her Dad is a successful man that doesn't need this kind of rap.

This is too odd to be made up out of the clear blue sky.

And what about the boyfriend's dad? Where's his statement? (Although I'm sure it will be out soon...) He's probably wondering how much his denial is worth to the girl's daddy.

I mean good for her tbh. There has never been a shred of evidence that any of this is true. Kind of disgusting how people ran with it

Are you one of those post-modern lefties that believes people are still kids until 40? Not responsible for anything?

Maybe, maybe not. The family had no other choice but to come out and categorically deny it and threaten to sue. Nobody would ever admit this was real.

Starting a GoFund me is cringe though. Obvious scam.

So they lied to police and the FBI? That could easily be corroborated.

Probably could be but the Police / FBI aren't launching an investigation into a civil matter like this. They don't give a shite.

And if you notice they didn't actually address any allegations just that she was the "victim of a cyber attack" which is extremely vague and not even used correctly in this scenario.

They could if there was malicious intent. Mostly it’s a civil matter but stalking or harassing could cross over into criminal behavior leading to charges.

So you are admitting it was a prank? I mean even a moron can see the pic of the “dad” is not real.
None of this is remotely funny.

Sure they could.

If what is stated is true about doxing, threatening messages being sent via text and/or voicemail, especially threatening bodily harm and/or death...yes, someone will end up getting into trouble over this.

Most of it will fall back on the person/persons responsible for starting this on the X platform.
