That isn't what got him fired. It was losing to O and always losing to Kirby that did him in. The fact recruiting was going so poorly this year was the straw that broke his back.

He seemed to live and die by his system. When he had good linemen it was really hard to stop but without that he’d get shut down completely.

The thing is, Auburn fans are touchy and sensitive right now so you get a lot of responses when you troll them.
