No problem recruiting, in general, before last year. OL was the exception. This class Gus had going was way off the mark and a big part of the reason he was fired.
I believe Harsin will be fine recruiting and hopefully he will be much better at developing the talent.

I agree. This years signing class is a throw away. This staff has very little connection to anybody Auburn had committed. Next years class should be better. It is two years down the road where we will see how this staff can recruit.

I understand their logic but firing Gus was a BAD move... He seemed to be the one coach in the league to somehow be able to beat Saban even if by luck... Now when he lost, ht lost BIG but IMO he was a good coach... Problem is that once defenses figured out his HUNH offenses he was fricked and he didn't do that great of a job at player development... That said, Auburn was kinda screwed either way... Unless this new guy has something that we've never seen before, Auburn's gonna take a step back and will get WORKED this upcoming season... Don't think anyone is expecting a drastic turnaround year 1... IMO, I don't see a drastic turnaround happening even within the next 3-4 years...

Nobody expected one in 2013 either. And no I don’t think that we get that kind of season next year.
The fact is we don’t need a major turnaround. We were 3rd in the West in a down year. We needed somebody with more consistency, better player development.
