Eh, I wouldn't say considerably more talented, but I think it would be hard to argue that we don't aren't sitting the more talented roster.
We were at least pulling the guys in these past 4 years, our problem was that instead of coaching them up and keeping their asses in the weight room, we were letting them get fat on Cheetos and spend all their time on Call of Duty.
Even with the phenomenal class y'all just brought in, I think we've still got more pure talent then y'all. Only problem is, y'all will be in year two of actual, legitimate coaching while we're starting at square one this spring.
The question is, will the talent gap + home field advantage be enough to overcome that, assuming coaching decisions for the game are about equal?

Why undecided are you so confident in beating both Mississippi schools? Please elaborate
Home Field advantage and we played both schools close last year until the 4th quarter although this will not be reflected in the final score. This was done with Kiehl Frazier as the QB.
Auburn also has two classes of highly recruited but undeveloped talent and a strong class coming in which will make us equally matched and/or better with good coaching
Not a knock on the Mississippi schools but these are our most realistic conference wins as we rarely win @ Arkansas and @ Tennessee is an unknown at this point

That sounds remarkably like OM circa 2011. I'm in no way saying OM is a lock to win because we hardly ever win in JHS but to say y'all are considerably more talented is funny.
Okay I'll restate it then: based off of scouting services and potential, Auburn has alot more talent on campus than Ole Miss does. That does not mean they they will play great football as a team or meet their individual potentials. It simply means that if Ole Miss coaches get all that they can out of their players and Auburn coaches get all that they can out of their players.... then Auburn should win.

I wouldn't say a lot... A good chunk of that talent has been processed in one way or another.

Since we can't use point differential in our argument lets use just offensive stats for convenience.
AU returns 10 from a group that was dead last in the SEC. OM by comparison also returns 10 from a group that ranked 5th.
Would you say that OM just somehow is going to get worse while returning just as many starters while AU improves?

No, I don't think Ole Miss will be worse. I do, however, think that AU will be much improved.

Nutt for all of his faults did recruit some good talent. Not as elite as Chizik's but top 20. People have extremely short memories around here for some reason. They act like OM has never seen good recruits. We have we've just had shitty coaches.

I didn't read the Auburn response to your question until after I had posted mine but it seems like everyone is on the same page

The only thing that keeps you from bouncing back(I love Gus' system) is QB play. Now there could be some unforeseen QB that comes from out of nowhere. Bo Wallace certainly surprised us. I honestly don't know who y'all's QBs are outside of Frazier and that JUCO kid.

With the exception of about nine months, Gus has been building the foundation of this offense for the past four years. Very few of the offensive guys that were brought in last year were ones that Gus wasn't recruiting before he left. I think I read that three of skill position players from the entire offense came here without Gus signing off on it.
The upperclassmen know his system already. Spring practice, for them, won't be as much of a learning process as it will be a refresher course.
I expect a top 4-5 offense this year, even with the quarterback "issues". Frazier and Johnson were both hand-picked by Gus to run his offense. Wallace ran a Malzahnian offense in high school as well. I think our quarterback situation will surprise some people by the time SEC play comes around.

I can't decide if you're trustworthy or not

Maybe I overstated the gap in talent... but it is still there. Just the same as Auburn, while pulling in top 10 classes for the last four years, still has a considerably less talent than bama, LSU, and UGA.

AU loses their best Dlineman, best LB, best OL , best WR, best ST returner and you don't have a QB... Not saying we'll win on the plains, we rarely do... But when you read that does it slow your roll down a little bit ?
ETA: Yes.. The best OL part was a troll

Ah, I never realized y'all were that high... I figured after Orgeron left, y'all dropped pretty heavily in the 'crooting rankings

It's insignificant if there's one at all. Our DLine is going to be good and our secondary should be too(they were horrible at the beginning of 2012). We return all major contributors on both sides of the ball and added elite talent(albeit young) to back them up. This OM team is going to surprise people but the schedule is rough.

Nutt signed a lot of risks. Some panned out while others shite the bed. It was fricking infuriating.

Best OL? If this were even close to true, we would be in real trouble. Hint: It's not.
Best DL? Probably... at least for passing situations.
Best LB? Most experienced.
Best WR? OK... I'll give you that one.
Best KR? So we lose O-Mac. With the new rules, kick returns are become less and less important anyway.
Slow my roll? I'm on the GUS BUS and there will be no slowing of the rolling.

7 wins is a good bet for AU this year.
I'm thinking the Vegas line for AU's win total will be O/U 6.5, maybe 5.5
