Keep coping brother. The Arnold I saw against Baylor was the same player I saw all last season.

lol you’ll see in Norman. It won’t be pretty and I guarantee you won’t have the humility to say “you were right”.

Just wait. It will be a blowout. The guy looks like a deer in the headlights when he plays a decent defense.

You think he’s going to replicate that against Oklahoma, A&M, UGA, Mizzou, and Alabama? Hell, even Vanderbilt?

If you believe that, to quote the great George strait, I got some ocean front property in Arizona I’d like to sell you.

Arnold is no worse than average as a college quarterback, and is likely going to have a successful season.

The only people lacking in humility are OU fans who refuse to acknowledge he was placed in a terrible situation last season.

I wouldn’t even tune into the game if I were you, frankly.

I’m not talking trash, I’m just telling you what is likely to happen. And in about two weeks you’ll see that, and you’ll be very sad when you realize your qb was a pretender.

Dude, I’ve been there. You’re in the denial stage. I was in it for an entire season. Hate to see others go through it.

No we totally realize it. What we also realize is your qb whisperer hasn’t helped improve him at all. He’s too focused on getting that handicap lower.

Acting like JA doesn’t piss down his leg when he feels a little pressure is classic. Enjoy his stats now. When he faces a real defense, which he will in two weeks, he’s very charitable. I’m calling two lost fumbles and at least one interception.

Well, he has a real Offensive Line and Wide Receiver corps this year, so I suspect he’ll be in a better position.

And your Qb led a Washington St team to a whopping 8-5 record. Mateer isnt the savior you think he is. He ended last season with four straight losses.

These losses included powerhouse teams like Wyoming, New Mexico, Oregon St, and Syracuse.

Bro, your coach told the AU defense to take it easy on him in camp. Who is refusing to acknowledge what?

Bro our pass defense was ranked 136th out of 136th in pass defense before yesterday.

But we are 2-0.

I would absolutely agree, I think that is what we are all saying, he is no worse than an AVERAGE QB. But he was a 5 star recruit, who didn't live up to the hype. Yes he had a struggling OL, and injured WR's, but for those of us who watched him play all year he was inconsistent even when he had good blocking. He made poor reads, he rushed throws, and he missed MANY open WRs in critical situations. In many of those situations he ran the ball and he turned the ball over (11 fumbles). Will he be better at Auburn? Probably. He would have been better behind OU's line this year.

Or the Auburn fans who think he will magically become a different player just because he happens to play for them.

The reality is in the middle. He will play better, but until he runs into a great defense and proves he can make good reads and good decisions, we won't know. Personally I think he will struggle in Norman.
