Kirby tried to call timeout. He knows it. He’s lying to cover himself.

He ran down the sidelines signaling timeout. If you read his lips, he’s saying timeout. The side judge saw this, and stopped the clock and the play, waving his hands.

I remember it well and likened it immediately to what I saw on Saturday night.
Ironically, in the Bama case, there was an official standing near safety Zion Puckett looking the other way. It also didn't matter -- Bama's Milroe hit Isiah Bond in the end zone on 4th and 31 for the game winning touchdown.

Also Saban complained - like it or not.

Yes.

Visiting teams are not allowed to leave their team bus/hotel/dressing room at any time while visiting Baton Rouge. Therefore avoiding the clap et al.
