Wasn't that the game where Mark Dodge intercepted the Harrell pass to end the game, and the ref overturned it, then Justin Warren blew his assignment, leaving Jordan Peterson to cover a receiver twice his height in the endzone?

Nah, that was '06. My fish year

Pretty sure the gif in question is from '04, and we won that game.

The saddest part was Peterson still had perfect coverage. The ball just somehow got through his arms.

Well, Kyle Field's supposed to be a memorial and for some reason that toolbag decided to take it upon himself to defend it. Pretty sure he was inebriated at the time, as well

Because of that incident, to this day the Corps Officers of the Day that stand on the field have to have their sabres zip-tied to their scabbards so they can't be drawn

The fact that the officious-looking prick in the yellow coat went after the SMU guy defending one of his boys instead of the dude who was kicking people and drawing weapons on them is actually pretty disheartening to me.

The gif is from the 2006 31-27 game where Tech threw a 45 yard TD with about 20 seconds left. In 2004 we won in overtime with Reggie McNeal and Courtney Lewis going apeshit.

It was '06:

1. The 2004 game pitted #21 A&M vs. #24 Tech. Score was 25-25 after regulation and A&M won in overtime 32-25.

2. The score in the .gif is 27-24 A&M. Tech won 31-27 in 2006.

You're 10 years younger than me and you have bad memory? Not a good sign.

2006 was the year we lost three games by six points, all at home, but then beat top-20 Mizzu and top-10 Texas on the road. Pretty sure we led in the final minute of each loss too.

Should have gone 12-0 that year.

No frickin' joke, right? As bad as that shite looked in the middle of the field, I'd have had the personnel gang tackle the a-hole with the sabre before he accidentally ran himself through with it.

How soon you forget who was coaching. We also won the following games that came down to the final series:

Army 28-24 (goal line stand)

Kansas 21-18 (winning score with 50 seconds left)

Oklahoma State 34-33 (converted a 4th and 17, then scored the tying TD with 6 seconds left - blocked the tying PAT in overtime)

Texas 12-7 (the infamous Michael Bennett hit which caused butthurt throughout Austin)

We were 16 points away from being 5-7.

He ended up getting expelled as a result of his actions.

After watching it a few times, I kind of wish the SMU guys had stomped his arse out right there on the 50 yard line.

To be fair, A&M kicked him out of school and he (supposedly) got rejected by the military.
