For all the what-ifs that happened in last years IB the final was the same AU > UA. Everyone could see AU was going to put it away in OT so if I were a bama fan I'd just be happy it ended like it did and my team gets to be part of possibly the greatest highlight clip of all time. Bama should be thanking AU for the exposure.

Who is forgetting? Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Auburn_Tigers_football_team#Key_losses
It was a rebuilding season for Auburn. Besides, 2011 Alabama is Saban's 1st or 2nd best defense ever. It's improbable that this season's defense will be as dominant, so your point is irrelevant.
