This situation has actually improved his draft status. He's been able to maintain a high level of play amidst all of the controversy. I know it's hard to believe, but the NFL cares more about money and production rather than the question of Cecil Newton shopping around his son.

Newton has been protected against any scrutiny.
He hasn't answered any questions. He has pretty much dodged the press.
Hell why should he worry? By the time any sanctions come down he will be gone. So no real pressure on him here.

If you mean Army, where I played, you would be correct...we never won any SEC rings..or any rings..we weren't too good of a ball club in the early part of the decade..but I think you are refering to Auburn...
and I know that's a talking point you sweethearts like to use..what with your 'tradishun' and what not..
but Don't be so ignorant as to not know that this decade Auburn has 2 SEC rings, 3 West Rings, and HOPEFULLY 1 National Ring (2 if you count the "moral" championship of 2004..I'll give you that
) to your 1,2,1 respectively... I understand and respect Alabama's past history ..but don't make yourself look foolish with comments like those. Auburn knows damn well about those rings you speak of...and they damn sure know how to beat Alabama...with whichever coach of the hour you guys choose.
