And, shock of all shockers, the MayorofChilville is not happy with the Bammers and thinks they have a hand in this!

quote:

Even though the NCAA is investigating Cam's recruitment, Auburn has continued to play him because they feel confident in his innocense. They obviously would not do so if they thought there was any doubt he would become ineligable.....Which brings me back to my bull-crap radar comment from last week. Even though the NCAA has been investigating this for over a month, it comes out right after bammer's off week when they don't have anything to occupy their minds. Yes this was started by ESPN, but I can guarentee you where the tip to talk to Bonds (the Miss St. QB) who was in on trying to buy Cam supposedly, came from. It came from a bammer in the media whose name I will not mention, and no not the great bald one.

I usually back Mayor on what he writes, but I don't think there is any UA connection.

It's important to consider who his audience is though. Those people love a good ol' bammer connection.

Geez the hiring of Saban at just around 4 mill a year is a steal of a deal if this plays out

BOOM Barners

Is there any legit verification that Herbstreit actually said this? Or is this just something being posted on this site?

Maybe he should coach the Dallas Cowboys - seems to do well when the players are paid. Too bad the checks didn't clear to the USC third string offense Arkansas may have been competitive

If I go to bed I can have dreams of someone coming out saying Herbie never said anything close to that.

I really hope that crap was contrived. If not, damn.
