hope you weren't referring to Alabama since AU students have a higher high school GPA and ACT scores than UA.
UA has higher SAT scores and Auburn's ACT scores are only marginally higher. UA also rejects most applicants (66% rejection rate), putting it in the "selective admissions" category. Auburn, on the other hand, rejects only 30%.

Nationally, UA ranks #77, overall, among public and private universities. Auburn is #89. LINK

High school GPAs are a joke, now. They're padded to the nth degree. Bama gets apps from some kids whose schools are reporting a 6.0 GPA, .

out of all your post, what percentage of them would you say are about Cam? 30-40%? About Auburn or Cam? 60+%?

This is a BS number to go off of. BTW when you have 30k idiots applying, it's not that hard to reject them. Not trying to say bama applicants are idiots, but Bama has a large number of less than acceptable applicants, just because they want to try and get into bama. This topic belongs in one of the 100's of other threads about it though

AU is still bama's daddy and we make a hell of a lot more money because our degree is from a hell of a lot better institution!

Oh yeah, and Cam still all up in bama's head.

And only intelligent people apply to Auburn, right? That makes sense considering it's a borderline agricultural school.

Did I say that? Dont get your panties in a wad

ETA. you have to admit a large portion of that rejected percentage are less than qualified to attend a major university and apply just because its Bama. thus raising your rejection percentage

Hey now, an admitted illiterate never graduated from Bama bro.

I hope you're not talking about the guy who was lying his arse off in court to try to get the judge to feel sorry for him so that the judge would get his Baby Mama's hands out of his wallet?

That guy? Because a ton of his contemporaries who went to school with him said he was lying through his teeth. But, considering your own head coach's record with regard to honesty, y'all will believe anything.

Good luck trying to get any of them to admit that.

Which is why bama fans don't need to say shite about Auburn academics. That window licker wouldn't pass middle school today without a tutor.

Actually, it's one of the primary determinants in college rankings.

Your argument about increased apps is only partly correct - over the past ten years, UA's freshman admits have consistently ranked among the highest in the region and in the upper percentile, nationally. Auburn may have a lower reject rate because only people interested in their specialized programs apply or that they don't receive as many applications as UA, which is now a larger student population, btw.

Each school serves a different but necessary purpose, which in large part explains the salary differences between graduates: Auburn is an engineering and ag sciences school - occupations that earn more upon graduation than business, communications, liberal arts, etc.

You're right. This is it for me.

It's been fun. Good luck and good for Cam, seriously. I hope he graduates and I really, really don't want anything to come of his playing time at AU, NCAA-wise. It would make the state and the conference look bad and lower the level of competition within the conference. I hope every team except UA goes 11-1.

In 30 years every Auburn fan is going to have a faded, tattered Cam poster on their wall and will still be posting about his legendary 1 year Auburn career.
