i doubt it would have been mentioned at all if he would have simply let them know that he was not going to be able to make it.
now that's funny..

Who gives a shite. Fox news blows anyway, and make up stories they want to already. Why can't they just keep doing as they have in the past and lie about him?

Wait, so what they said today is true?

Interview shows have cancellations all the time. It is part of the deal.
But almost all of the cancellations call beforehand to let them know.
I really doubt they would have said anything about him, much less make fun of him time after time if he would have let them know.

the media has lived off this story since it broke.. everyone loves a scandal and talking about it brings ratings. the media is never that forgiving.
you haven't answered my first question.

Cam could take a lie detector.. he could waste his time defending himself in interview after interview.. and most of the media would still think he's guilty for being a smug, cheating douche so why the hell should he?
I never said he should do the interview. IF he is guilty, then he most certainly should NOT do the interview. If he is innocent, then he should either DO the interview or tell them that he cannot make it.
And we are not talking about the Tuscaloosa News investigative reporters who might already have their minds made up. We are talking about Fox News, who up to this point hasn't had a dog in this fight.
And I think you are assuming that they were going to lambaste him on national TV instead of doing a more typical congrats "filler" interview.
Whatever is the case, that was not good PR for Cam...

So because he did not call in to the show b4 hand... thats the only reason they trashed him for soo long...Thats a good reason for a credible show to let twitter comments from God knows who on air about a college player! And you really think they would have treated him fairly if he would have shown up...wow!

Fox is not the place for someone with possible democratic party affiliations with a questionable past to appear for a "friendly" interview.

We agree here my friend!!!

It's all good brother. There is one irrefutable fact that I know about this case...and that is that I don't know if he is innocent or guilty.
That being said, it was a PR blunder that could have and should have been better mitigated. Better hope they don't use the same strategy with David Letterman...but it would be good TV.

Cam ducking Fox and Friends this morning.
Supposed to be there but hasn't showed up yet. They are roasting him right now for apparently dodging the interview.
Said the last person that didn't show up without notice was Blagojevich.
No surprise. Integrity obviously ignored as part of the Heisman criteria.

He will be on letterman. It is a classier show. Fox can be ruthless for the sake of ratings.

Loved the Fox doesn't pay enough comment. They were bashing him. Did he just not show up? Why not have your "people" call and cancel? That was a very bad PR move.

The powers that be at Auburn know they can't allow Cam to get questioned by a real journalist or attorney because his arrogance will cause him to lose it. any interview he gives will be a close up with his lawyer sitting right beside him and cropped out of view. The fowler interview was a prime example of this.
