And the same LSU fans blowing Kiffin right now who were also the same LSU fans who blew Brian Kelly will be the same fans blowing the frick out of O when he takes over as interim

Funny you say that. It was Ole Miss fans "blowing" Kiffin literally up to the point of him making his decision to leave Ole Miss

If O takes over as interim, and has us back in the natty 2 yrs after that, I'd take that all day. Somehow that sounds more realistic than Ole Miss winning a national championship before LSU winning another one

I really think the NCAA should find a way for coach O to be all time interim.

first program that fires their coach midseason can activate him... give the program the ole yawyaw boost for a few weeks until another school fires their guy and off he goes to the next one

If Lane doesn't work out and he's gone in 3 years LSU is officially Auburn but worse

Most of the LSU fans blowing Kiffin said he was not a championship level coach when he was Ole Miss’ coach.

And everyone said he would only leave ole piss for the bama job and they claim that if bama called, he'd leave tomorrow.

Well, saban left and he wasn't called then... so I doubt he'd get a call.

I feel like you’re an alter. No way you’re that stupid. But it is tSECr so it’s on par with the IQ level.

No way. Lane will be there at least 6-7 years. He will win at least 1 NC. But when the wheels start coming off about year 5 it is going to be a glorious Lane Train Wreck and LSU fans will want to tar and feather him.

Not sure his contract details....but seems like after paying the insane buyout for Chip, how much they pay Lane, how much they pay for NIL, the players, etc....he def will not. LSU has alot of money, but no CFB team can afford all that in a few years besides maybe Texas..

A lot of LSU fans dogged the shite out of Kiffin before he became LSU’s coach. And then magically their opinion of him changed overnight.

And EVERY ole piss fan said he wasn't and wouldn't leave them, LOL. Now he's hated... so what's the difference?

Ole Miss fan's opinion of Lane changed too. It didn't even take overnight.

Cig won at Indiana. If Lane was a good coach he could have won at Ol' Piss. But still, it's hard to hate on the guy after how bad he screwed over the Vols

Um..why is owing 54 mill to a coach funny? It is not Texas A&M 76 Mill buyout by the Aggies funny, but still not sure why it is funny.....very terrible contracts by the ADs.

LSU probably does not want another huge buyout on their hands....that could very much hurt the program...but I think he will do well there.
