It is fine... Ridley/Ford will be better than any of them... and then Ford/Hilliard will be better than those and LSU will go 14-0 and win every game by 20

cant say they wont be better but CW and RB were both top 10 picks in the draft.. so right now I go with them easily

Draft position is not the most reliable predictor of talent anyway. Drew Brees and Quincy Carter were both selected in Round 2 of the same draft. Last I heard, Quincy was in jail in Shreveport...just saying.

I did not read thru all the garbage but how about this

Ronnie Brown - 2nd overall draft pick
Carnell Williams - 5th overall draft pick

Ingram & Richardson - TBD

Felix and Darren accumulated more All-Purpose Yards than any duo in the history of college football.

Additionally, Felix was recently named Sports Illustrated Kick Returner of the Decade, while Darren was named Sports Illustrated Running Back of the Decade.

But the comparison of also-rans is cute.

Ok, for the simple among us, I'll concede that Brown and Williams are currently the better NFL RBs. I've already proven that Ingram and Richardson are the better college backs...well, technically THEY'VE proven it.

They were in a draft where Alex Smith went #1.

Alex Smith.

I would hope that MI and TR would end up better Pro Players, by not having the injury bug. Both guys have missed large portions of 2 years.

and let me guess. Roy Upchurch is better than Brandon Jacobs. Arenas is better than Carlos Rogers. McElroy is better than Jason Campbell.

I dont know about better but Jason Campbell sucked in college so saying GM is better may not be too far a stretch as far as cfb qb goes

Gumps trying to measure up to AU again?

Like I said, all that matters in a gumps life is trying to measure up to all things AU on the football field (because we know everywhere else is a lost cause for the gumps).

I didn't think Auburn was "good" at anything but football. Neat.

fwiw in football if we have a penis measuring contes with Auburn yall come up way short sorry and I believe the 2 univ are neck and neck academic wise so that kind of blows that out the water. You need to rethink your flames before you go with them and make sure they are retort proof there chief.

Funny you say that AU83 because there happens to be a AU fan in my office right now saying it made AU's season to ALMOST beat Alabama.
