In fact, one of the reasons the East and West upper decks were not connected to the North and South, is that Coach Mal Moores didn't want any bad seats in BD.

Hey! I just noticed something...look at how the side with President Denny is taller than the side with Bryant...compare that to the light poles and the level of the stadium in the background...someone obviously tilted the image to make Denny look taller than Bryant...

I heard one of the upper decks is 6 feet lower than the other so the logistics of connecting the two were a little complicated
