That's my problem. I would get bored so fast. One of my friends was so into it, he'd go before the season even started and just sit in his stand to watch deer. I never understood it. I'd just rather get one of those dummy deer and shoot at it all day.

that's why i duck hunt. you don't have to be as quiet and you don't have to put scent on you. just camo up, load the shotgun, do a little calling, and wait for the birds. then it's a matter of letting them work the decoy spread and get ready.
