I was speaking in general, not specifically about Burton, or Marshall, or UGA.

Roasted?

He's not a number one receiver. That pretty much sums up the message from Georgia fans.

Did he play like a Bama #1 receiver on Saturday? I think he had 2 catches.
You've had Julio, devonte, etc..

Marshall is in the hall of very good.
He didn't jump out at me on Saturday. But I wasn't keying on him. He may have had his best game for Bama (makes sense. Most people don't get worse week to week).

Impossible.

You assured all of us that Bama has a coaching, S&C, and development problem, and that UGA was leading the way in all these areas

Yet on Saturday, Bama was the more physical team, the more disciplined team, and the better coached team. That's how they won the game.

He definitely showed a lot of animosity on Saturday. I don’t get it either.

Obviously you have issues with recruiting if you are supplementing backups from UGA.
If it isn't a problem recruiting, then it is a problem in development if you are taking backups from UGA.

You know your program better than me.
Which problem does Alabama have? You took a portal QB as well.

It may be impossible to get a straight answer from you.
That's my best guess.

I answer it the same way every time, you just can't handle the answer. He'll take someone he thinks can bring value to his team via depth or competition

Seems to be working just fine for him seeing as he's beat Kirby every year he's played him and not enough depth was the primary reason for his lone loss

Because of a lack of recruiting or a lack of development.

I see your answer.
You just never finish the thought experiment.

I told you that you couldn't give a straight answer.

Maybe the development issue is on the UGA side? Your former backups at UGA made a bigger impact on the 2023 SECCG than your current starters did.

Zero TD catches for UGA and the UGA D couldnt get any turnovers. When the Bammer D held your O in check from scoring points the D couldnt create any turnovers which they hadnt done all year

Burton could have been part of a 15-0 season. Oh well.

If Burton had stayed to further his development at UGA, he would currently be projected as a first round draft pick.

So he could score ZERO TDs vs the best D he played all year like the rest of the UGA WR room did in the SECCG ?

Burton wanted to be like elite bama wrs and get 75 catches for 1500 yards. He wasn’t gonna get that opportunity at uga, and he failed twice to be that good at bama, so maybe he wasn’t as good as he has hoped.

AD got an NIL deal from Texas and asked Kirby to match it. Kriby said 'no'. He only played in 3 or 4 games for UGA last year. We were fine without him. He was a good dude who came up big in the biggest games and I wish him the best.

Yeah.
That tends to happen when they are hurt.

We got a lot of run out of 2 freshmen ILBs this season.
And we spread the ball around in the passing game.

We could have used both of them. But they transferred because they would be second fiddle until the injuries cropped up.

It is a good move on their part.
The irony is that Bama needed our backups as starters way before the grind of the season waned.
