no one is mentioning it as a possibility. Your best chance to beat LSU or Alabama came and went when Mullen went full on retard against LSU in 2009.

My brother in law has been at every practice in some capacity. He is really worried about this team. Says the defense looks good but the offense looks like absolute shite. Said lord mullens is acting all nervous n shite. I'm guessing that he wishes like hell he woulda got out when he had a shot

MSU will field a very solid team, but they will lose to AU and UT imo.

my cousin's uncle's sister's nephew plays on the team- and he says this is by far the best team they have had in his 4 years and he has never seen Mullen so calm

an those 7 wins dont include LSU coach coonass.

state will start 7-0 and then upset bama before the LSU curse gets them.

11-1 regular season and then next year merlins breaks the curse

based on what? Take the names off the jersey and explain why Tenn and Auburn will go into Starkville and win?

I think MSU's biggest strength will be the DL this year. Tennessee's OL is one of the best at pass blocking. So that will be neutralized to an extent.

I just don't think MSU will put up enough points to beat UT, though the game is in Starkville.

Right now I say Tennessee wins by 7. That is subject to change based on UT and MSU's early season performances.

I can go a little more in depth if you'd like, but that is the basis of it.

while it will be good, our Secondary is one of the best in the SEC- 3 of the 4 will be drafted- with Banks going in Round 1. Slay is projected as a 3rd-4th round pick at the other CB. Whitley at F/S will be a 3rd-4th round pick after next year

And we are solid at LB- returning the SEC's 2nd leading tackler

Points wont be easy for you guys to come by, even as good as your offense could possibly be

Wasn't aware your secondary, aside from Banks, was that good. Should make for a very interesting matchup, UT's O vs. MSU's D.

I guess it boils down to your offense against our defense.

What do you all expect from the offense this year? Who will be the major contributors.

Not sure you guys will score 3 TDs.

Also, seriously doubt we are held to zero points.

You lost to a horrible UK team with a WR at qb. Forgive me if I'm not afraid.

That's what happens when you schedule shite teams, and that's the problem with some State fans. You beat a couple teams like Jacksonville State, South Alabama, Troy, and Kentucky, and you seem to think you're relevant. If State loses to Tennessee and Auburn to start that "7 game run", you are potentially looking at 6 losses.

I think that is what alot of people are sleeping on- State has been one of the better D's in the SEC the last 2 years- and this year's will be the best yet.

the offense will be improved- how much? We have to wait and see. There will be more passing- less option, more big plays with Russell at QB. The question is can Russell stay healthy and not turn the ball over?

RB LaDarius Perkins is a solid RB but he will do his damage catching passes out of the backfield

WR's Joe Morrow and Jameon Lewis are guys to watch because they have some big play ability- but little experience. The rest of the WR are just solid- nothing great.

If State's offense struggles, it will be because the OT's arent protecting well and we arent able to run the football.
