This is not last year. Hooker is the best in the nation this year.
You Bammers can pout all you want about that fact.

Honest question. You say our DLine has not stood out. You don't like our secondary.
Is it our LBs that have us in the top 5 in defense? All by themselves?

No Peyton was a level above Danny waffles, what you meant to say was Danny played for a cutting edge offensive mind and one of the best play callers in college football and Peyton had phat Phil

I actually said the secondary hasn’t been tested this year. Which is fair and accurate. And I said in the context that on paper (or for the kids a video game) UGA should blow the Vols out. The Dline really lacks the stats, especially considering the level of competition played and is missing enough to to really be unimpressive.
Honestly it looks more like Clemson syndrome, where you coast and show up for 1 game a year so far. Not saying UGA sucks, or lacks talent but so far it’s not showing up. 99 in TFL, 120 in sacks, but 5th in running D. So they are making tackles against bad teams, but not bothering the QB. Not ideal against an O like the Vols.

Surprised you didn't list TE as a group. And that would go to Georgia.
I was high and thought I did lol
Definitely UGA

Ok. I took that to mean you felt they were not good. I'm not going back through your posts to double check. You post as much as I do and it would be tedious to double check. But, you would be right to say they have not been tested by a high powered passing attack.

Before the season some thought Oregon would be a big test. We blew them out and suddenly they were not good. Then when they start beating everybody else handily it is because they play in the PAC 12.
It's the same song different verse. Whoever is ranked highly hasn't played anybody....yet somehow manage to win a championship of some type.
quote:Except for leading the nation in QB throwaways? That usually means the QB is bothered. Hey. We'll know tomorrow. I think UT is legit, btw. This game scares me. I would not be surprised if we got beat. But tell me. If we find a way to win, will we have been tested, or will it just be that UT really wasn't all that good, after all? Or maybe it was a fluke? Or...or...or...
but not bothering the QB.

No one educated thought Oregon stood a chance to be fair
