What beat us last year will beat us this year. Can you run the ball right us? Can you connect on deep passes? Well then you have a shot at beating us in a shootout.
We have the capacity, if we aren't just completely overwhelmed, to put up a ton of points. But if you know the not so secret to beating our defense so can you.
The positives for us are we have a few teams on our schedule who cannot line up and push us off the LOS with impunity and who might miss the wide open deep passes. I predicted 5-7. 7-5 or 8-4 seems within reach. If we get matched up with a pass happy Big 12 team in a bowl 9 wins seems doable. Which would be a huge step forward from where we were not that long ago.

We had our first really complete game of the year last night. Better offensive performance, decent defensive effort, and got the win. We are getting better.
One more hurdle, and it's the #1 hurdle in the country this week, then the schedule gets significantly softer.

For those too young to remember, these are the “Not Ready for Prime Time Players”.

There are individual players putting in effort sometimes but...
LSU just gave up 300 yards on the ground to Kentucky. Blown out and the score was less brutal than the performance
Ogre is a dead man walking. 3-9 is not impossible. 5-7 seems likely

Alabama
This team is an embarrassment to themselves and a labor to watch as a fan. The staff is not getting these young guys coached up. The coordinators are among the weakest Alabama has had since 2007 (Applewhite/Steele). The defense gets beat by the same man-beater bullshite every week. The offense seems to just be hitting the Ask Madden button and not responding to what the opponent is actually doing on the field.
Am I entitled after a decade and a half of Nick Saban? Sure. But I derived more enjoyment as a fan rooting for the 2005 Mike Shula team than this one. I might just throw Eli Gold up on the radio and play a video game or read a book next week. Investing my full attention to this product just pisses me off.

We can be great when players actually do their job and the coaches realize their getting paid to coach to win instead of stealing a check...that's my honest assessment

1. Bad at like of scrimmage.
2. Bad at catching footballs.
The combination of 1 and 2 make it tough to win any football game.

If LSU were a band we’d be a N’Sync. If we were a President we’d be President Brandon. If we were a drug we’d be fentanyl. If we were a woman we’d be full frontal Rosie O’Donnell. in short , we are the Hindenburg, stacked on the Titanic, powered by Chernobyl.
This is accurate

Reading comprehension obviously isn't your strong suit...
Feel free to clarify, because I'm still not seeing anything different.
This teams lack of intensity, heart and everything else falls at the feet of Saban. There was a time when this shite was not acceptable.

We have talent enough to beat anyone on the schedule, but the last couple of games have been some ugly football.
Honest question:
Do you feel as though the talent level (depth and raw talent) is at a level to where you can win consistently? In other words, when Dan has a head scratcher of a game, do you feel that you can expect to beat a Bama or a UGA (or any other team that people refer as Top Tier) 5/10 times on talent alone?
To win consistently, I'd expect that a team has to out talent some games and out scheme in others...a marriage of the two, if you will.
Do you feel that Dan has UF at this level of talent?
