Since you have talked about raping fellow board members not surprising you would want to see a man sweat.

Seems a little sleazy to wait until practice has started and force Auburn into elevating his son since they don’t have many options.

Like he didn’t know if he wanted to retire months ago? Comon.

But I will miss him on the sidelines, as much as he was frustrating to watch our team go against. We had his number more times than not.

Father head coach steps down, no interviews for vacant coaching position? Associate HC just becomes coach. Yeah, that's nepotism.

Supposedly Bruce requested that stipulation in his last contract negotiation .

You would think they would at least want to put feelers out for a actual head coaching candidate.

Jesus Bruce Pearl will give Israel trillions. Hard fricking no to him as a senator

AL will still be dumb enough to put him in unfortunately if he actually does run.

His kid gets this season to prove he should be hired as the permanent HC. ...obviously planned. I like Pearl...I liked he wasn't afraid to speak out politically...probably will get my vote if he runs.

Saw that first full practice and said, "Nah, I'm good".

As others have said, obviously running for that Senate seat.

Our writers are pretty heavily suggesting that he won't run for Senate.

Great guy amazing coach

That’s the thing about Pearl, even the most ardent Alabama fans like the guy through his generosity and coaching ability. I mean, I hated him at first, but he grew on me through personal interactions with people outside of basketball.

He will do well in politics here.
