He isn't coming back if he doesn't get to 8-4, but I'm not 100% sure he'll be back with 8-4, either.

Just took a look at the schedule...
NC State - Atlanta
Georgia State - Knoxville
Florida - Knoxville
Akron - Knoxville
Georgia - Athens
Mississippi State - Starkville
Alabama - Knoxville
South Carolina - Columbia
Troy - Knoxville
Missouri - Knoxville
Vanderbilt - Nashville
Kentucky - Knoxville
I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for 8-4. That being said, I don't think Tennessee will do it. They'll go 7-5.

Probably as favorable of schedule as anyone in the East other than GA. Dooley needs to win a game against FL or SC to quiet the fans with pitchforks. He has to beat MSU, VDY, KY and Miz to get to 8.

Well I would hope so. They pretty much suck at this stage in the game. Maybe one day they will be competitive again but not right now.

We do suck right now as a program, but not as bad as Tennessee.

UF is going to be a lot better this year that D of theirs is nasty and they will beat UT and most likely UGA

The UGA game will be a good one, again. I think UF probably lose a low scoring close game because of our offense though.

FL has better defensive players, but TN appears to have an upper hand offensively. Should be an interesting year if both teams remain healthy. TN had no depth last year and was crippled by injuries, FL had slightly more depth except at QB.
I am interested to see how coach Boom does in his second year. Not sure he or Dooley have been in a fair fight yet. Hopefully the fanbases won't be too impatient. Both seem to be improving their programs.

Same thing last year, and we beat them handily.

We played one of our worst games of last season against Tennessee and we still took them to the woodshed. The vols are a long way off.

i literally shite on richt every time im on TD and not once have i admitted i think we will lose any one of our games in 2012
i even said we will probably go 11-1 but there is not one team i will say we'd lose too. why? never give these idiots ammunition. not to mention despite our recent record i see no reason why we should lose to UF. if we lose, fire mark richt.

To save his job Dooley will have to go bowling if the 8th win hinges on post season match-up, a 7-5 season 'trending up' season could be enough

Florida's offense is going to keep Tennessee in the game this year.
