I just also happen to think that Schotty is capable of making many of your fanbase melt down too.
Can be said about every offensive coordinator everywhere. Shite, I sat in the Swamp in a sea of Florida fans during the Gators heyday with Spurrier and listened in disbelief as the gator fans whined about Spurrier's play calling.
If you didn't experience any of our melts regarding Bobo's play calling you simply haven't been paying attention. So, again - not sure what's really new to see here.

His father never hired him as oc. It would help if you knew the facts before starting a troll thread.

You can't be serious, you don't think his father had anything to do with him getting his first OC job?

Anything can mean many things, by I Don't think his dad was in any of his interviews post retirement if that's what you are saying.

So cbs isn't the one oc in the history of the game to never screw up? Brilliant point

This is hilarious...this coming from a fan base that won't or can't even acknowledge how horribly you got your arse whipped by the only 2 ranked teams you played.
Jesus,Shotty hasn't even coached his first game and you guys are giving us a tutorial on how awful he's gonna be.
Do you really want me to mention the names again of how many successful CFB coaches were average at best in the NFL?
Can't win anyway with you guys...when he does put up huge numbers this year you'll just credit the talent or CMR.

That's putting it politely. It should make for an interesting year.

Obvious troll, but I can guarantee you that UGA will beat the piss out of Missouri again. Will Schotty do great things? Time will tell, and you can rest assured someone will dig up this thread.

His talent was horrid at the Rams. Amazing how such a simple concept is difficult for cruise to understand.

I've watched this guy call plays for 3 years, trust me this thread will be dug up in the first week of the season

There's a huge difference between bad play calling and players not executing the called plays. Sadly more times than not, with Schotty, you're just gonna get shite play calling.

Bad talent can lead to a good play call looking bad.

The thing is, Shotty doesn't have to be great at UGA with all the talent we have, plus we got Pruitt on D so that helps even more. He fits our style of offense and that is the biggest thing. I think he was chosen b/c we wanted a OC and someone who appeal to kids striving for the NFL. I think we got who we wanted, whether or not it works out is to be seen. Its not like he needs to get too creative this year anyway with our rbs that we got in the stable.

The funny part.... Is Pinkel known as being a great play caller?
And who is Mizzou's OC?
Does anybody even fricking know?

How is it like grantham? He had at least proven himself in the sec.

Bobby Ross was the head coach of the Lions. Chan Gailey has been the head guy a bunch of places.

Grantham is a very good DC.
He had 1 bad year when he lost 8/11 starters to the NFL. He started a whole bunch of freshmen, in a year where the offense was plagued with injury and unable to move the ball consistently.
Grantham wasn't fired. Louisville paid him $1m/yr and we were paying him around $800k
The UGA 2012 Defense wasn't Richt's defense, it wasn't a legacy defense from Martinez.... it was Grantham's defense.
That's all I have to say about that.
