"He played for a championship, and made a playoff, and is the winningest active coach in FBS, but he sucks, and doesn't win 'the big one'... therefore LSU will not win another game."

I understand hyperbole just fine and realize you don’t literally mean we’d hire a high school coach.

The point of this whole thread was laughing at BK’s tenure before LSU. You responded to a LSU fan simply noting that BK was more successful than any of the previous 4 coaches prior to coaching in Baton Rouge. So why is it beyond the realm of possibilities that Brian Kelly could also be successful at LSU?

That's a great question.

Why does Brian Kelly command so much real estate on this board?

Ah, cool, glad we had that absolutely pointless back and forth.

It's probably an excess of both.

Just ask them which of the 4 coaches had the most success prior to LSU and the dipshits usually just stop replying.

Almost as cool as you taking that whole post and just responding to the first sentence. Here’s the rest of the post incase you missed it

Or ask OP how Orgeron did at LSU v. how he did at Ole Miss

FSU took him to OT last year (FSU lost to Jacksonville St.).

Also - will FSU take BK to overtime again this year?

Imagine only being favored by 3 points against a team that went 5-7 last year

That's an entirely different point than I was making?

Maybe. Why are you worried?

Imagine being favored by 3 when your team went 6-7 the year before, fired their coach halfway through the season, and doesn't even have a week 0 warm-up game.

LSU needs a warm-up game against a team that lost to Jacksonville State last year?

Ole Miss knows a lot about this from first-hand experience

Do I need to explain to you why a warm-up game is valuable when you're a team with about a dozen new starters and an entirely new coaching staff, regardless of the opening opponent?

Do I need to explain to you that for most SEC teams, a week 1 game against a team that went 5-7 IS the warm-up game?

Apparently not for LSU though. Yikes

Do you understood that LSU went 6-7 and is rebuilding?

How many barely legal co-ed’s phone numbers do you think creepy Lane would give up to even sniff a playoff berth?

Reminds me of the time LSU fans tried to convince themselves that Miles was a better HC than Saban. Good times.
