2019 proved that an imbecile can win a title at LSU.

Can't wait to watch Kelly for the next 10 years.

Did you know that Texas A&M, Ole Miss, MSU, and Arkansas weren't good at all back then? Now Kelly will have to face a much better Texas A&M, Ole Miss, MSU, and Arkansas team and Kelly is two years behind those that got the must needed experienced as a SEC HC.

You say this a lot and it's never true.

What isn't true about those teams being not ranked and had lousy HC and were not recruiting as good as they are now? Only Texas A&M have same HC, but he has finally got the number one recruiting class last year. I guess you just focus on LSU and not see what the other teams in the SEC have done to make them better and have a chance to compete against LSU and other top teams.

I mean look at what you said.

Supposedly, you're saying that State, Ole Miss, A&M, and Arkansas are better now so LSU won't be able to compete.

Last year, Ole Miss beat their arse but that was also one of the best Ole Miss teams ever.

Otherwise, a lame duck coaching staff with a dumpster fire of a roster beat both A&M and State and took Arkansas to overtime yet suddenly Brian Kelly won't be able to compete.

That doesn't make even a little bit of sense.

Meaning you will be competing with them and win some and lose some to those teams and that will prevent LSU to go back to a championship game for a while. That is what I am saying! LSU had little to no competition when they were that bad. Now they aren't so now and will compete with LSU yearly now.

Only if you count on LSU being as bad yearly as they have been for the past two years.

Meh, he told LSU fans what they wanted to hear. I love LA, I love Baton rouge, I'm gonna take back LA, I love the food.

Sounds a lot like the previous coach.

Until BK proves he can play with the big boys and not make a season out of beating Pur-dont, Sparty, Stanford, Pitt and...Navy, I'll have to see it.
He seems like a great guy and fairly good coach but he has gotten beat down in ND's biggest games in his tenure there.
Before everybody says, muh, more talent at LSU...what did LSU do the last couple times they played the 'less' talented Irish?

So you're saying Ole Miss, Texas A&M , MSU, and Arkansas can't beat LSU when LSU is good? Really?! Are you telling me if LSU is good, they will dominate the SEC again? That is what I am trying to tell you that SEC west teams have greatly improved in the last two years. That have nothing to do with LSU the last two years! It has to do with other SEC West teams and some SEC east teams that have greatly improved overall. Now where did I say that was not true? We aren't talking about the past! This is now and a much-improved teams in the SEC. You will be in shocked when LSU will no longer be going back to a championship game as long as SEC teams are good as LSU. You think one way and saying if LSU is good, they will be back in championship game but saying other teams that will be good will not ever be in a championship game.
Then you get Texas and OU in the SEC, and that will make it even harder for LSU to get to the championship game.

Notre Dame was very good but never great under Kelly, they oftentimes didn't have the skill players necessary to really compete with the big boys and were usually overrated due to being Notre Dame.

Whether the skill player problem was due to Notre Dame or Kelly remains to be seen however it isn't like Notre Dame was super successful in the 20 years prior to Kelly arriving there.

Their "big losses" were all to the eventual national champions, Bama in both 2012 and 2020 and Clemson in 2018, that Clemson team beat Alabama just as bad as they did Notre Dame.
