How many of the QBs on your roster are DT QBs? Looks like Morris would be the only one if they bring him in.

We don’t need a dual threat QB. We will be a more balanced offense next year and run a true RPO. Jayden didn’t run out of necessity just saw the opportunity when working his reads.

But there were so many opportunities that it justifies having a dual threat QB.

Rickie Collins is the only real dual threat guy, he'll be a redshirt freshman next year.
Colin Hurley (incoming freshman) and Nuss are more similar to Michael Penix in that they're pass first guys but they can also move around in the pocket and throw on the run. You won't see many designed runs for them.

It justifies it but not necessary. After Jayden leaves we don’t have a true dual threat QB until Underwood comes in

Henderson doesn’t have game breaking speed, but he can make throws, and run the rock like 20 times for us if needed. More durable. I bet BK wants that on his roster after what JD was able to do with his legs.

Looks like Brian Kelly realizes he can’t win unless his QB is capable of just taking off for 40 yards when the play breaks down or can’t read the defense.
