LSU needed someone with stability to guide them through what's on the horizon. Hard times are coming and they need someone who can navigate through it.
This is why the money is what it is. That's Saban money and he's nowhere near that level. Cultures are going to clash that's why LSU gave him his golden parachute.
Some LSU higher ups should have swallowed their pride and hired Napier. No fear here,I can't wait to see the carnage.

Let's see where LSU's class finishes. Checks notes. Evan Stewart commits to A&M within hours of the news breaking. Checks again. Seems A&M is in excellent position with all of its targets LSU wanted as well since the news broke.

Right, Riley turned LSU down on Saturday around midnight and LSU did all the work to get Kelly away from Notre Dame in just over 24 hours. Seems plausible

LSU just can’t pull the REAL top shelf coaches like BOB. Like you said, somebody with the “stability” of running when you should pass and passing when you should run.
