He's a good coach and guess with the way things are going in the SEC, the Auburn admins wanted to make sure they retained him.

Gus has the barn over the barrel. He is a good football coach and as of today there isn't that many great coaches looking for work. I would pay more per year and have that buyout around 4 million Tops. Need both sides with skin in the game.
