I notice Paul isn’t on the show now. I wonder if it’ll be addressed.

According to that post on FB, it says the grandchild was with her, but makes no mention if he/she was hurt. Does anyone know?

I don't listen to the finebaum show, but sad to hear. Prayers for everyone involved.

Looks like the grandchild died as well.

From the AL.com story linked above:
quote:

driver of a commercial vehicle carrying some kind of explosive material was traveling eastbound when he possibly blew a tire and the truck overturned on its side.

It then veered into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane and collided with an SUV carrying the woman and the infant. Both have been confirmed dead. The truck driver was flown to UAB Hospital’s Trauma Center.

What happened to cause the car wreck?
That's terrible, especially a grandchild.

ETA: I see the above link. So terrible. Wrong place wrong time.

In the thread, so you may have already seen, but truck carrying explosive/hazardous materials crashed... presumed to be a tire blowout. It tipped over and then her car impacted.

Yall I live in Sylacauga where the wreck happened. I drove through at about 8:30 and I was wondering why they had 280 blocked off. Apparently an 18wheeler carrying explosives/chemicals blew a tire went across the median and struck Tammys car. Nothing she could do....just sad.
