I like what Bert is doing but you can't tell me that he wouldn't be all over Mayfield if given the chance. His elusiveness, smart decision-making and quick release. And as many posters have mentioned on this board-college coaches have no incentive whatsoever to mold a quarterback for the NFL. That should be the role of the scouts and trainers working for the NFL.

Why would they not? UT is better than TAMU today and historically. And will be next year too.
