He's a mechanical engineering major. If you have future aspirations in that career field and don't have to pay for school would you really in your right mind take Oklahoma over A&M?

I remember that name. I had wondered -- well, not recently -- where he'd disappeared to. That's an amazing get, especially for a team whose coach is big on the pass. If Sumlin can adjust to different forms of the option and draws than he's relied heavily on since Manziel, an RB like Ford could be a godsend.

The coaches really like Ford's work ethic. He received the offensive scout team player of the year award.

After reading Arrakis' link, that's good news. Some people are just plain screw-ups and never really learn their lesson. Others, though, understand how valuable a second chance is and make sure they don't waste it.

Bob Stoops isn't known for playing Black quarterbacks. I can remember 1 in his term in Norman. Kendal Thompson never really saw the field and transferred to Utah
