You really don't have much depth to your "intelligence" do you?

Wade inherited most of your team. 5 of your top 7 scorers played for LSU last season.

In Pearl's first season at AU we literally only had 3 players left from the year before. One of them never really played for Pearl due to injury, one of them wasn't good, and the other (literally the only D1 caliber player on the roster when Pearl took over) was a SR so Pearl only had him one year.
In year 2 at AU there was literally ONE player left over from the Barber era, and he was a talentless benchwarmer that didn't get a lot of minutes.

To even have enough players to put a team on the court his first two season Pearl had to scramble literally all over the transfer market, JUCO, grad transger, regular transfers. He had to patchwork a team together. As bad as we were those first 2 seasons, it could have been much worse. Most coaches wouldn't have been able to field a team at all.
Year 3 may as well have been year 1 for Pearl, but we were still starting 4/5 freshmen because of all the transfers we had to rely on to even have a team those first 2 years, so while we were a good team last year we still had those freshman struggles.




Will Wade literally just added Waters to what was already at LSU.
Sorry, but that doesn't exactly qualify as a world class "rebuild" job. Yeah, your last coach was terrible, but y'all still had a solid foundation already in place for Wade to start with. Pearl was given an overgrown empty lot of woods and turned it into a world class mansion for us.

LSU's situation doesn't even compare to what Pearl took over at AU. Y'all still haf solid players, just a shitty coach. We had a shitty coach, and we didn't even have enough players but most of the ones we did had should have been playing for Montevallo.
