Tua lights up our defense at practice every day, and it is better than yours.

True, but none of those cupcakes on your schedule remotely has the secondary to do it. LSU does. LSU can. We have the corners and safeties to make it happen.
I hear ya man. Tua is no J'Mar Smith.

IF LSU can get pressure with 4 they may have a chance, but I doubt they will. I also don't think BAMA's top 4 WRs and TE can be covered one on one every play and someone not get left. We'll see.
That is a big IF, based on losing Chaisson. And I agree, defenses have to mix it up.

Tua is awesome, you guys are to damn sensitive. Just because you talk about stoping him, it’s not an insult.
Based on what I have seen in games the Bama defense is not better than LSU.
Also, I have heard that lights up the defense practice shite for years and is means exactly NOTHING.

We're just hoping to come in and compete. Show up and scratch and claw.

You seem to be sensitive, sir.
My point was your secondary isn't all that great. You allowed over 300 to J'Mar Smith. UAB held him to just over a 100 and no tds.

Really, did you watch that game. LSU never came close to losing and why would you care to get a player hurt trying to stop a rent a win from getting junk time passing yards. Let’s be real, pointing to that as an example of Bama superiority in defense is pretty damn weak.

I would not be surprised to see Alabama in the Pistol formation for a good amount of plays against LSU. The ability to audible back out to Shotgun is easier and quicker than I-form as well as giving our backs a head of steam when we run the ball. Alabama must run the ball against LSU.
Can LSU's LBs consistently cover Irv Smith and Alabama's stable of RBs out of the backfield?

I do not know. White is ok in coverage but he has been toasted a couple of times. I have not seen our other LBs in much coverage.

Thats where I see Bama going, especially early. Your DBs are very good and you'll be fired up as hell if you take care of MSU. I see our RBS and TEs getting open in the flats and Tua getting it to them quickly for 5-15 yards a piece. When LSU adjusts to cover the flats with some more zone the slants, fades and posts will be there.
Burrows got alot of moxy and your RBs have a ton of fight. Bama can't let you run the ball on 1st down.

Yeah, they brought all kinds of pressure that the O’Line couldnt handle. Not to mention the idiotic offensive game plan to begin with, and the lack of adjustment at halftime.
I hadn’t seen pressure on Smith like that all year long. He had all day vs LSU and UNT. He had no time vs UAB.

We haven't seen a total shutdown secondary like LSU.
LSU's secondary is good, but the argument goes both ways.
LSU has faced some good passing teams (UGA and OM), but both already had exposed games (Tennessee for UGA's passing attack, Alabama for OM).
While those two teams are 7th and 8th in the nation in pass rating vs P5 teams, the difference between them and Alabama in rating is over 67 points.
That means from 1st to 7th is as distant as 8th is to 123rd.
LSU hasn't faced a passing attack anywhere near as good as Bama's; Bama hasn't faced a pass defense anywhere near as good as LSU's.

you have to cover his receivers
Which one?
The 4th guy Alabama brings in literally uncoverable(sp).
And let's not forget that Alabama loves to unveil new shite against LSU.
If Tua starts and plays against LSU, y'all will need 35 points to win the game.

There was a point in the 4th quarter when you were only up by 3. At that point you had gone 4 drives without points. You were certainly in danger there.
You also had your starters in the entire game... against LA Tech.

You do not have to stop Tua, you have to cover his receivers man2man and get coverage pressure from you front 4. That is how you beat Alabama this year. Their defense is weaker this year. That deficiency has been covers up by Tua throwing for a million TD against cupcakes.
Not quite sure where or how you got the formula but....I agree with everything you wrote but let me make a suggestion. Just a slight addition if you will.
Add this : ...also if youll try your best to score more points than Alabama. This is the key to beating them....yep scoring more points is the secret to beating Bama.

You are right. Any team can have a bad game against a cupcake. I sure you will agree that Jordan teamu, Jake fromm, and Jarrett stidam are much better than jmar Smith. And we shut all of them down.
