I don't know.
We had each had a scumbag. Ours was in the AD. Yours was the associate head coach. That's like asking is it worse to have brain cancer or AIDs.
About the only thing either camp should feel good about is that every indication is they were operating solo and outside the bounds of each one's respective leaders (but with each other, how weird is that). Nothing shows a systemic problem at either program.

According to complaint he first was approached in May. He didn't do anything/get involved until August with Sexton

By the way we are talking fricking chump change here
Arizona SB site just put out that they allegedly were offering $150,000 to a recruit and Miami/Adidas wanted to match to avoid him going to rival brand

Other than being a slow white guy with no hops, I should have played basketball.

We may be seeing why the whole SEC has sucked at hoops over the last decade.
We can't afford it AND football.

Before it is over, there will be very few teams left untouched.

I'm just throwing this out there, Adidas/Miami tried to match/outbid Zona/Nike so the recruit didn't go to a Nike school
If I was a Bama fan I'd shiting my pants right now. Bama (Nike) beat out Blueblood Kansas(Adidas) for Collin Sexton
Adidas clearly were willing to pay and Sexton was top 5?
Don't see a high school kid/parents turning down 50,100,150k offer from Blueblood elite program/coach to attend Bama just because "Its his first offer/want to play for Avery"

Think about what Kobe, Lebron or Jordan's value was to Nike. Spread 500k a year to the right 5 kids and you only have to hit 1 every 20 years or so to make the ROI about 10,000%.
It's all about the shoes. Think about all of the non-basketball pro athletes who had recognizable shoes. Bo Jackson is the only prominent one I can really remember being a big deal. Many more basketball players have had prominent shoes over the last 30 years, going back to Jordan, Bird and Magic and going forward from there.

Every Adidas/Nike school should be very worried.

The first who get arrested will be better off. They will be able to cut a deal to turn on the others. That is how the Feds work.

Do you think the NCAA cares about that. A high ranking AD screams Lack of Institutional Control. Who cares who goes to prison.

Coach, when the NCAA catches a BB team cheating, you know buying players, what would be a fair punishment?
Loss of players
Recruiting limits
