What if I had said Joe burrow was a pedophile on Twitter and cbs/espn lead every broadcast lsu was playing on off with "accused child rapist Joe burrow takes the field" and that person holds no responsibility because he isn't a journalist and there was a "source" out there. It has to be more controlled than that

Dude, I had already said he was wrong, I simply responded to someone who said "that's not journalism ".

My bad broski, all is good. Just pointing out the fault with that logic. If the dude popped for pissing hot, sure, if your source is skankhunt69 on Twitter hold back on broadcasting it on national TV. The heads at espn would certainly expect everyone else to be held to that standard.

If your announcer is a fan (and most are) he wanted to believe it. I don't blame the twitter troll in this case. He's an idiot kid. I blame the announcer for using a fricking anonymous tweet as a credible source to smear a kid. That is low down, beyond belief, dirty and the announcer should've known it.
You don't accuse players of violations without evidence. That shite is harmful.

That announcer is probably one of the Arkansas posters here that’s slammed the board with Vol threads over the last few months.
