That’s because every SEC team gets everyone’s best shot in a bowl game. Even if it’s Vandy. People see that SEC logo and it’s motivation. Not so much the other way around. It’s hard for our teams to get fired up to play Baylor in the bad boy mowers bowl.
I bet that win % would be a lot higher if the games were scheduled in OOC home or away. For example Arkansas vs Texas & MS St vs NC St this season. Vandy vs K State a few years ago. Ole Miss vs Texas tech a few years ago. Play us in OOC games and see who wins.
