Lawl, Cotton Bowl picked a 9-3 Aggie team over a 10-2 OSU team in 2010. They pick whoever they want.

What rivalry? Thats like state and alabama. There is no rivalry. There is a slaughter 9-10.

They played at the end of every year. I'm asking A&M fans, by the way.

Why did A&M and Texas just dump the rivalry? They're not playing this year and I don't see the matchup on future schedules.....

Texas is butthurt that AM went to the SEC. Told them they don't have any OOC schedule openings till like 2018 or something.

I'm sorry. You must excuse me. I was unaware that I could not express my opinion on an internet message board.

Cotton Bowl committee would kill for an A&M/TEX matchup in Dallas.

Dodds would forfeit.

So this means we have to beat MS State, USCe, or LSU. Not sure which one it will be.

Obviously, it's LSU. We've been preparing for them since last November.

I guess given Arky's situation it wouldn't be a bad thing going to Memphis this year. Lots of fans would love to make that one. Meh, I'll take it.

So they think Arkansas will beat either State, SC, or LSU. We can't make a bowl without that. I guess it could happen. I just don't see how a win over Auburn makes them think that.

That would be my choice. Our offense isn't what it was but I think we could actually score more pints than them. I'm not on board with it though. I'd rather us beat SCe at this point. We will have to hear how they've come farther than us if end up playing a BCS game.

its better than the bozo at CBSSports.com who thinks that at least two bowls will not have an eligible team available.

never mind the NCAA instituted a rule that will allow teams with 2 FCS wins, teams transitioning into FBS, and even teams with 5-7 records to be in bowls just in case enough teams don't qualify.

its only part of his job to know simple rule changes such as that.

no biggie.

If A&M closes out it's schedule 9-3 AND the Sip's have a similar record, the Cotton Bowl will grab both teams.

Outside of the National Championship it would be one of the most hyped games in Cotton Bowl history.

If it came about, the question is: Would DeLoss Dodds allow it? Would the B12 put pressure on the Cotton Bowl to pick a lower ranked team?

A&M has made it clear they want the rivalry to continue, Dodds is the only person preventing it.

The Liberty would be an accomplishment after the way we started. I'd take it in a second.

Isn't there a rule this year to where if you meet certain academic standards you can get in a bowl as a 5-7 team? I wanna say they did that this year because so many teams were bowl banned.

That's what I'm hearing. Money is money and I think the I bowl would welcome a 5-7 Arkansas team.
