More importantly two things stopped SEC's expansion into the Carolina and Virginia but one of them came first.
Because of the failure of A&M the SEC decided not to bring in NC State
Then the ACC locked down their members with Grant of Rights soon after.
That is why Greg Sankey didn't pull the trigger on UNC a couple of months ago with the academic scandal.

Then don't fricking bowl if you're going to be a pussy about your matchup. You are a 6-6 team, you don't deserve any damn leverage at all.

The ACC approved the Grant of Rights less than 4 months after the 2012 season.
Even your goalpost moving business is failing.

In 2013?
Maryland leaving had a lot to do with it as well but the second most important part was the SEC attempting to pull in NC State.
I see once again that you are trying to manipulate the data for your own benefit just like with attendance and the LHN.
Problem is attendance is down all over college football in every conference including the SEC.
SEC hasn't made the payout of this year according to their the profits from their network but I wonder if the profits from the SEC network will be down this year.
More and more people are cutting the cable cord.

Public Service Announcement:
This new guy A LeBlanc is a sock for Charles Satterfield who also uses the sock Randolph Duke.
Charles's wife ran off with an Aggie several years ago and he has made it his life work to post manufactured information to retaliate. He had another sock here on the rant but the Mods must have caught him. He is now back the the LeBlanc sock.
He is known statewide and here is a site that describes him.

All you need to know about the SEC vs Big 12 is summed up by the fact that a Vandy team who finished with a 1-7 record (13th in the SEC) shut down the 5th best team (Kansas State) in the Big 12. Mizzou would have it's way with Texas in a bowl game. No wonder they want no part of either them or Texas A&M.

Me too. I'd love to see that shite conference dissolve and watch half of the teams compete for Mountain West membership.
The only team I would feel bad for is Iowa State. They have always had great friendly fans. Always enjoyed interacting and tailgating with them.

Texas A&M and Missouri are 3-1 vs the Big 12-2 in bowls since the move to this great conference.
Including two cotton bowl victories over
2013 #13 Oklahoma State and 2012 #12 Oklahoma.
All this nonsense revisionist Big 12-2 BS doesn't fly.
If Missouri played Texas in a Bowl that record laughably goes to 4-1
I think it's all about optics at this point. The Big 12 is shite and they are trying to hide that fact.
Losing aTm Mizzou and Nebraska crushed that conference forever. It's doomed at this point.

They can try to hide it all they want. However they cannot mask the smell.
Saw this posted on another site:
"Friday night's Texas Tech-Texas game was drowned in the ratings by some 50+ year old cartoons. Despite the dramatic upset by the Red Raiders, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (5.68 million viewers) and something called DreamWorks Trolls Holiday (5.19) on NBC left the FOX Game of the Week (3.59) in the dust for the 7 CT/8 ET o'clock hour. In addition, the game was beat by Frosty the Snowman (3.95) on CBS but finished just ahead of ABC's airing of Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town (3.36)."

One of the greatest days of my fandom when aTm and Mizzou told that whorn run conference to frick off and moved to the SEC. T
I love being here now. This conference treats everyone as equal brothers and sisters. Couldn't imagine it any other way.

Texas obsession with both Mizzou and A&M, going so far as to follow your fan base to the SECrant, has to be one of the weirdest things in college football. I don’t understand it. I thought they wanted y’all gone?

Maybe you can convince your mom to take you to a game a little early to get an autograph! Wouldn’t that be cool?
