It doesn't matter what sports are actually in trouble.

It doesn't matter if it was all the last coaching staff.

Until there is a FIRM resolution to this every team in the SEC will be in the ears of your recruits telling them the worst possible sanctions are coming down.

By the time your women's BBall program or whatever gets a post-season ban the damage will be done.

Exactly missing my point.

It doesn't matter if an old football staff committed the violations, the PROGRAM can still be punished for that today.

And until the NCAA decides if they are going to punish your program, every SEC coach will be telling Ole Miss recruits that yall are on the edge of the death penalty (even if that is not true).

In 2015 perception is reality.

You keep posting that. We keep pointing out that it doesn't matter. It's getting old.

At the worst, we will be docked a couple of scholarships. Hate to ruin the fun, but there will be no bowl ban/etc. for a violation made 8 years ago by a previous coaching stuff

The actual final punishment from the NCAA doesn't matter.

The worst of the "damage" will be done at that point. Uncertainty is worse than anything when it comes to recruiting. If NSD was months out then MAYBE y'all skate by but the timing is terrible for Ole Miss.

That is what matters now.

Pat Forde is pretty infamous for being a smear journalist and someone from OM probably humped his wife.

Or the fact that our biggest recruiting weekend is here and we can show the recruits what exactly the NOA says and calm them down about it....instead of speculate about what it includes.....which is what you all are doing.

I don't consider a top 7 class a "letdown" by any stretch of the imagination

So did Bama's textbook scandal.

Stuff happened under Shula;

they found out about it during Saban's first year;

just 5 football players were involved with hundreds of others (the majority) from other sports involvedd;

but they still got hammered.

This is accurate. Luckily most to all of our top guys are already enrolled or are here this weekend until the dead period.
