Ford is dumb as a damn post. Charlie Pell set him up. The stadium's namesake was decent and also, John Heisman coached there. Seems like I have heard of him.

Frank Howard, for whom Howard's Rock is named after, was a long time head coach of Clemson from 1940-1969. He played football at Alabama for Wallace Wade, winning a national championship with the Tide as a player in 1930.
